The Security Manager at the mine is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all security operations to ensure the protection of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. They will develop security policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage the delivery of site based security.
Responsibilities include monitoring access controls and surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement. Ensure compliance with laws, company policies, and safety standards while maintaining records and equipment. Collaborate with other departments to integrate security into overall site safety and operations.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Military Science, or related fields equivalent at NQF level 7.
• Grade A Security Qualification, membership, and active status with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).
  

• A minimum of 10 years experience in the security or policing environment
• Experience in the mining industry or a high-risk environment would be preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior leadership or supervisory role
• Valid drivers license required
